View Prototype

 

Smart Hat is a concept for a product/software that keeps track of the hours construction workers spend on the job. It keeps track of hours worked/not worked, and provides emergency tracking of the workers – both for the workers themselves and their site manager. My role was to create the software layout, perform user testing, and create the Axure prototype.

How Smart Hat Works

The Smart Hat GPS activates when put on the head of a construction worker.  This will track how many workers are on site and how long they have been working for.  Information will be streamed live as well as recorded on Smart Hat website and database accessible by contractors, clients, and construction unions.
